居住在京町屋里的意义1

为了适应恶劣的自然环境,在京町屋的建造上随处可见我们祖先的智慧可以从他们身上学到很多东西。
我们采访了出生于京都的商人家庭,一直在传承京町屋的生活方式和文化的京都生活工艺馆无名舍主吉田浩二郎先生。

​出生于北观音山町,11岁演奏传统乐器。毕业于武藏野美术大学,在同大学造型学部任教。1972年回到京都,亲手修复老宅。祇园祭山牟联合会顾问。 

*适合商铺的典型京町屋
我出生的时候,家里是「白布批发商」,经销印染之前的和服布料。町屋的特征是商铺和住居在一起。面向马路的房间作为店铺。只有家里的主人从玄关出入,每月的五号、十号作为结算的房间使用。厨房是母亲与孩子用餐的地方,榻榻米房间周围是八帖的母屋、再往内是十贴的主屋,每个房间都有它的用途。现在只有我和妻子两个人居住在这里,因为没有作为店铺使用,所以改变了每个房间的用途,外屋适合接待,现在作为展示室使用。
