The Fair Competition Codes Concerning Indication of Real Estate are rules on real estate advertisement voluntarily established by the real estate industry for the purpose of consumer protection, and have been approved by the Japan Fair Trade Commission based on the provisions of the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations.
Specifically, the Codes provides restrictions on the start date of posting advertisement and detailed criteria for posting advertisement, so that consumers can accurately understand the descriptions of the advertisement.
